Join The Club

The North West RC Helicopter Club welcome new members of all ages and abilities at any time of the year. Please click on the link below to download a club joining form, and use the Contact Us form to get in touch.

We will then arrange to meet you at our field (usually on a Sunday) and take it from there. Once you are a paid member of the club and a competent pilot, you can use the flying site any time you wish. If you are already a proficient flyer, then we will allow you to fly with us twice before formal requesting membership.

 

Current Annual Membership Fees:

Adult - £30

Family - £70

Junior (under 18 on 1st Jan) - £20

 

Insurance

All RC flying pilots must have 3rd party insurance cover. This covers flyers for claims against damage to third party property in the case of an accident. Thankfully, claims worldwide are extremely rare and the current rate for this cover is in the region of £28 per year.

Insurance can be easily sought from the British Model Flying Association (BMFA).
